1-Day Beginner DJ Workshop — Melbourne
Learn to DJ in a single afternoon. No experience needed. All ages welcome.
This is our hands-on intensive workshop, run by United DJ Mixing School at our Melbourne studio. Small groups, a premium studio, and real industry equipment — turntables, CDJs and controllers.
It covers the same Weeks 1–4 content from our full 12-week course, condensed into one focused afternoon.
What You’ll Learn
- Hour 1 — Foundations: Equipment overview (controllers vs CDJs vs turntables), music structure, BPM, counting bars, basic troubleshooting.
- Hour 2 — The Beat Mix: Ear training, headphone use, pitch control, and executing your first mix.
- 30-Minute Break: Free snacks and soft drinks.
- Hours 3 & 4 — Hands-On Practice: Apply your skills across all gear types with instructor coaching. Q&A as needed.
